Carrie McIntyreInterstate Hotels & Resorts – the leading U.S.-based global hotel management company – today announced the appointment of Carrie McIntyre as chief financial officer. Most recently serving as the Company's executive vice president and treasurer, McIntyre's new position reports directly to the chief executive officer and encompasses the oversight of corporate and hotel accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, asset management, internal audit and risk management functions. Throughout her nearly 12-year tenure in the hospitality segment, she has acquired leadership experience with finance, strategic financial planning and analysis, investor relations and risk management. McIntyre's most recent role with Interstate as executive vice president and treasurer included oversight of the Company's accounting, treasury, tax and internal audit, budgeting and analysis, risk management functions, all capital market activities, and maintaining bank institution relationships across the world. Early in her career, McIntyre worked in corporate controller and senior accountant positions for a technology company and accounting firm, leading to her position as vice president and corporate controller at MeriStar Hotels & Resorts. McIntyre holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
