Fergus O'DonovanThe Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group – one of the world’s largest and most dynamic hotel groups – has appointed Fergus O’Donovan as the General Manager of the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey. Fergus, who is Irish, has a solid background in the hospitality industry, spanning 30 years. Having studied in Ireland, Fergus learnt the trade working in various positions within hotels across the UK and Ireland. In 1996, Fergus was appointed as Operations Manager for the Bosworth Hall Hotel in Warwickshire. In 1999 he joined the Goddard Arms Hotel in Swindon as General Manager before moving to the Rutland Square hotel in Nottingham in 2001 as General Manager. Fergus joined Rezidor in 2007 as General Manager of the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Sligo and was most recently working as the Acting General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, London Stansted Airport. Fergus holds a National Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from the G.M.I.T Galway Mayo Institute of Technology in Ireland. Fergus is married with two children. Outside of work, Fergus leads an active lifestyle, including taking on the “Man vs Mountain challenge” in Snowdonia this September.
