Patrick Andersen named President, Americas at CWT
Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), has announced that Patrick Andersen, currently executive vice president UK & Ireland, Nordics and Eastern Europe is appointed President, Americas with immediate effect. The "Americas" region includes both North America and Latin America. Andersen, a US-born Danish citizen, will become a member of the CWT executive team and will report to Douglas Anderson, CWT President and CEO. He will be based in CWT’s US headquarters in Minneapolis. Andersen joined CWT in 2008 as country manager Denmark. In 2009 he became Executive Vice President for Denmark and Sweden. Responsibilities for Finland and later Eastern Europe were added in 2011. In February 2012, Andersen was appointed to his current role of executive vice president UK & Ireland, Nordic and Eastern Europe. Prior to CWT, Andersen worked for Deutsche Post Worldwide Network and DHL holding numerous international positions in sales and marketing, operations and general management.
