Josh BakerWith more than 15 years of experience in small market meetings, government sales and association meetings, Baker will work closely with the director of sales and marketing assisting with corporate sales while servicing new clients and maintaining existing customers. The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens is part of Autograph Collection, an upscale ensemble of uniquely independent hotels within the Marriott International, Inc. global portfolio. Recognized as a leader from various industry associations, Baker was named the 2004 supplier of the year by Georgia Meeting Professionals and previously held the position of author, blogger and official hospitality expert for OfficeArrow.com, a website aimed to aid the establishment of small businesses. Baker received a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel, resort and tourism administration from the University of South Carolina and is a member of the Georgia chapter of Meeting Professionals International and Georgia Society of Association Executives as well as the Society of Government Meeting Professionals and Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International. Prior to joining The Lodge and Spa, Baker worked at Sheraton Atlanta Hotel starting as sales manager then promoted to government sales manager position, where he consistently met and exceeded annual sales goals. Before Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, Baker served as sales manager at Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter NW and the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta – Buckhead. Additionally, Baker served in several sales positions within Wyndham Hotel & Resorts throughout the East Coast.
