Amit AroraSKAI Holdings, the Dubai-based real estate investment firm behind plans for the $1bn Viceroy Dubai Palm Jumeirah, has appointed a former Emaar senior executive as its new CEO for hospitality. Amit Arora will oversee the operational requirements for SKAI Holdings' deluxe serviced apartments operations and will be responsible for growing the company's hospitality division. Arora, who has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including six years in senior sales and marketing roles at Emaar, will preside over the development of 10 new food concepts in the Palm Jumeirah resort. The luxury hotel and furnished residences project, which is currently under construction, is scheduled to be completed by 2016 and will be managed by Viceroy Hotels and Resorts.
