Bob Keating named Director of Business Development at Hotel Equities Group, LLC
As a member of the firm’s development team, Mr. Keating works directly with hotel owners who are looking for the best third-party partners to manage their existing hotels, new builds and portfolios. With more than 30 years of hospitality experience, Mr. Keating spent most of his career with Marriott International, Inc. Most recently he served as Vice President of Franchising where he led account management activities, increased Fairfield Inn franchise Overall Satisfaction significantly, grew their hotel development pipeline and worked directly with owners to ensure the best opening and operations of their hotel assets. After Mr. Keating began his career as Sales Manager with the Boston Marriott Copley Place, Marriott tapped him for a series of progressively important national sales positions before naming him a General Manager. He served as GM of two Residence Inn hotels and then moved up to Lead General Manager at the Residence Inn St. Louis, Missouri. In 2000, Marriott named Mr. Keating Manager of Franchising, Openings, and Acquisitions & Divestitures at the corporate headquarters in Washington. He served in that post for three years before his promotion to Vice President, Fairfield Inn/Fairfield Inn & Suites Franchising.
