Chris Ivy has been appointed Chief Development Officer, Americas at Radisson Hotel Group
Ivy joins Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group from Interstate Hotels and Resorts, where he was executive vice president, Acquisitions & Development. Prior to that, he served for seven years as senior vice president, Real Estate & Development for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and as vice president, Lodging Development for Marriott International for eight years. He worked as director of Development for Westin in Seattle, Wash., from 1997-98, and as director of Acquisitions for American General Hospitality Corporation from 1990-1997. Ivy holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Rawls School of Business at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He will report directly to Thorsten Kirschke, president, Americas.
