Erik Johnson has been appointed Vice President, Owner Advisory Group at Pyramid Global Hospitality
Mr. Johnson will be based in Benchmark's Atlanta regional office, expanding Benchmark's presence in the southeast. Alex Cabañas, Benchmark's president & CEO, made the announcement. Erik Johnson was previously managing principal of North Point Advisors, a firm he founded specializing in hotel asset management, investment advisory and owner support services to a wide variety of hotel owners and developers. Prior to launching his firm, Mr. Johnson was vice president for Reynolds Hotel Group, a private equity company based in Atlanta, where his responsibilities included developing the hotel investment and asset management platform and overseeing the company's investment in The Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Johnson served as director of investment analysis for InterContinental Hotels Group, where he was responsible for leading market feasibility and investment analysis initiatives for new hotel management and franchise contract opportunities for IHG brands. Mr. Johnson began his hotel real estate career at CNL Financial Group, where he served several subsidiaries within the company, including CNL Hotels and Resorts. Erik Johnson is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He resides in Alpharetta, Georgia.
