Austin Robinson has been appointed General Manager at Centara Karon Resort Phuket and Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara
Mr. Robinson was previously General Manager of Centara Nova Hotel & Spa Pattaya, Centara Boutique Collection and Centara Pattaya Resort. An Australian national with extensive experience in many leading hotels in Australia, Mr. Robinson had before coming to Thailand been Area General Manager for ten hotels in Port Douglas and Magnetic Island. He had also been General Manager of Novotel Lake Crackenback Resort, and General Manager of the Mantra Portsea. Both properties at Phuket under Mr. Robinson’s responsibility are located at Karon Beach. Centara Karon Resort Phuket is made up of four distinct residential zones to cater for different types of holidaymaker, and has 316 rooms in a large landscaped area of Karon, complimented by 19 villas scattered around the grounds. Waterfront Suites Phuket by Centara is a recent addition to the Centara Residence & Suites Collection. A 21-storey serviced apartment building it has 39 one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites equipped with kitchen and separate lounge, along with a large pool and tennis and squash courts.
