Leonard CzarneckiIn his previous senior management roles with international hotel companies, including Hilton, Waldorf-Astoria and Renaissance, he developed operational standards and was pivotal in the development and implementation of strategic planning, revenue management and service excellence. Having operated premier hotels throughout North America, Leonard brings keen insight into the services and amenities most valued by discerning travelers. Most recently, Leonard served as General Manager at sister property, The Fairmont Hamilton Princess, Bermuda. During his tenure, he launched a $70 million renovation and subsequently repositioned the historic property while also serving as President of the Bermuda Hotel Association. Immediately prior, Leonard served as General Manager at The Fairmont Pittsburgh, where he helped earn the hotel's LEED® Gold-Level certification. Other Fairmont posts include executive stints at The Fairmont Copley Plaza, Boston, and The Plaza, a Fairmont Managed Hotel in New York City. After obtaining a Bachelors degree in Hotel-Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University, Czarnecki embarked on a hospitality career with Hyatt Hotels Corporation. He then held positions of increasing responsibility, before joining Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in 2004.
