Kevin Robert named Executive Vice-President of Operations at Expotel Hospitality Services L.L.C.
New Orleans-based hotel owner/management company Expotel Hospitality Services Inc. announced the appointment today of hospitality industry veteran Kevin Robert as Executive Vice President, Operations. Prior to joining Expotel Hospitality, Robert was president of Five Points Hospitality, LLC and one of the founding members/Chief Executive Officer of Pyramid Hospitality & Development, LLC. In those positions, Robert was responsible for all aspects of asset ownership and management for the companies and hotel property portfolios, consisting of nationwide multi-franchised hotel products. Beginning his hotel career in food and beverage operations, Robert eventually transitioned into the roles of Corporate Controller, General Manager and Institutional Asset Manager. Over his career, he has had direct involvement in the development, acquisition, operations, and asset management of multi-franchise resort, convention, full-service, focused-service and extended-stay hotel projects nationwide. A native of Baton Rouge, LA, Robert studied business management at Louisiana State University and received his Certified Hotel Administrator designation from the Educational Institute at Michigan State University.
