Named Vice President of Digital Strategy

In his role at the Dallas Internet marketing agency, Gray will drive digital strategy and lead the search engine optimization, social media and content teams for clients including Marriott, Omni Hotels, Greystar Real Estate Management and NorthPark Center. Gray comes to Standing Dog from Delray Beach, Florida-based Ocean Properties Ltd., the fourth-largest private hotel resort ownership company in North America. As its director of eCommerce for more than 12 years, Gray was responsible for the online presence of more than 130 hotels and resorts including Marriott, Starwood, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Hilton and independent destination resorts across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International has recognized Gray for his achievements and experience by honoring him as a top achiever in the industry. He has been involved with the organization for nine years and has served as past chairman of its Digital Marketing Council, liaison to its Revenue Management Board and a member of its Board of Americas. He will continue his HSMAI involvement, advising on digital marketing certifications and webinars and heading up "The Hospitality Digital Marketing Podcast" which he founded and produces.
Gray has been a keynote speaker at the Hospitality Marketing Exchange and Mobile Marketing Conference as well as a repeat speaker and panelist for the global hospitality trade association Hotel Financial and Technology Professionals' HITEC convention, The Resort Management Conference and the HSMAI Digital Marketing Conference. He's also been a guest speaker at Florida International and George Washington universities.
Gray has served as chairman of the Caribbean Hotel Association's Digital Marketing Council and is a former member of Marriott's EFAC Committee and other branded eCommerce panels.
