Nicholas RimedioL'Ermitage Beverly Hills has named Nicholas Rimedio as Food & Beverage Director, overseeing all culinary efforts and partnerships for the property. No stranger to Viceroy Hotel Group, Rimedio previously served as a project consultant on two separate occasions for L'Ermitage, as well as on the primary task force for the opening of Viceroy Anguilla in 2009. He will work closely with the executive chef of LIVELLO to continue providing discerning locals and hotel guests with a distinctly unique dining experience at that reflects the top tier service and luxury standard of L'Ermitage Beverly Hills. Rimedio will also implement new dining concepts and a wide array of highly-anticipated social events with renowned culinary and wine experts, in addition to notable chefs from around the globe. A 15-year veteran of the restaurant and hospitality industry, Rimedio's experience ranges from small, family-run eateries to five-star restaurants in epicurean meccas. For the past two years, Rimedio has worked on the development, construction and opening of the gastro- lounge Empire in downtown Napa, where he still remains as owner. Most notably, Rimedio served as the General Manager for the late chef Charlie Trotter's flagship restaurant in Chicago, and later at Restaurant Charlie at the Palazzo in Las Vegas before ultimately departing in 2009. He previously held the position of General Manger of Southern Pacific Smokehouse in Novato, California, and Food & Beverage Director at Carmel Valley Ranch when the property was anchored by Michel Richard's Citronelle.
