Owen Chittenden has been appointed Senior Catering Sales Manager at The Shores Resort & Spa
Prior to joining The Shores, Chittenden spent 13 years with the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort, the last seven as Senior Catering Manager. Prior to that, he was at the Crowne Plaza in Pittsfield, Mass. servicing high-profile clients, such as General Electric, KB Toys, Laruen Publishing, to name just a few. Chittenden has held the position of President for Wedding Professionals of Volusia County and Florida Chapter Chair for Association of Certified Wedding Professionals. He has also served on numerous non-profit local committees and boards. He has also received numerous awards, including the ACPWC Professional Wedding Planner Award, Volusia County Food & Beverage Employee of the Year and Manager of the Quarter. Chittenden received his degree in Hotel Management from SUNY Cobleskill (N.Y.) in 1998.
