David Tonkin has been appointed Regional Director Hotel & Resort Operations at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific in Melbourne
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the appointment of David Tonkin to the position of Regional Director of Resort Operations for Victoria and Western Australia. David will be based in Melbourne where he will oversee six Wyndham managed resorts in the region, along with Ramada Encore Dandenong, a franchised property within the Wyndham Hotel Group portfolio. Having worked in the hotel industry for 20 years, David began his career with Rydges Hotel & Resorts, starting out as a cadet and moving on to manage hotels across Australia and the Middle East. His more recent roles include Area General Manager – Middle East and UK overseeing hotel operations in Dubai, Doha and London from 2004-2011 and more recently General Manager of the Rydges Bell City hotel in Melbourne.
