Emily Venugopal has been appointed Director of Public Relations at - The Pierre, A Taj Hotel in New York
Most recently, Emily was Senior Vice President with The Brandman Agency, New York, where over a six and a half year span she managed a team of 10 overseeing luxury hotel and travel clients in diverse locations including North America, India, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. She oversaw the development of effective PR strategies, new property launches and strategic partnerships for clients including La Mamounia, Marrakech; The Setai Miami Beach; Park Hyatt New York; and Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort, Costa Rica. Previously, she worked at KWE Group in Miami and BGB Communications, First Public Relations and Charles Barker BSMG (Weber Shandwick) in London, also specializing in the areas of luxury and travel. She holds a BA Hons in Media Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and has traveled the world extensively.
