Allen HighfieldHighfield joins Montage Deer Valley with an extensive and diverse background in the luxury hospitality industry where he has operated in resort mountain destinations, as well as urban luxury properties. Most recently, he served as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco. It was during Highfield's tenure as General Manager that the hotel received recognition as one of the "Top 20 Best City Hotels in the World" by Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report - the only Ritz-Carlton that year to receive this distinguished award. Prior to his position at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, Highfield was the opening General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. While with Ritz-Carlton, Highfield also held the positions of General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown (Washington, DC), Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park (New York City), and Director of Operations of The Ritz-Carlton Club, Bachelor Gulch (Colorado). He began his hospitality career with Hyatt Regency and also held several management positions at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, Illinois and the Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado, prior to joining Ritz-Carlton. Highfield is a graduate of Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
