Robert CatlinThe British national brings over 20 years of industry experience to his new role, where he will oversee the entire food and beverage operations of the hotel and its seven outlets. Prior to joining the Dubai property, Catlin was director of food and beverage at the Renaissance Doha City Center Hotel, Marriott Executive Apartments and Courtyard by Marriot cluster in Qatar, where he played a vital role in the pre-opening phase. He was in charge of the set-up, mobilisation, and management of the food and beverage department, which comprised nine outlets, banquet operations, outside catering, event planning, room service, and mini bars. Before moving to the Middle East, Catlin was the director of event management at the 221-key London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, following which, he was appointed as director of food and beverage for the Restaurant Associates Hotels.
