Rick GonzalezAlila Hotels & Resorts has appointed Rick Gonzalez as head chef at Alila Jabal Akhdar, which opened three months ago. Prior to joining the Oman hotel, Gonzalez was executive chef at Amandari in Ubud, Bali, and also worked with the team at Sana Sini restaurant at Pullman Hotel in Jakarta. He was also the pre-opening chef at Amanzo Resort, Porto Heli in Greece, and chef de cuisine at Sirocco Restaurant at Lebua Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, where he was responsible for the overall culinary operation and managing the kitchen staff of 20 chefs and seven stewards.
