Alex Barros has been appointed VP of Sales EMEA at Duetto in London
Duetto, the market leader in hotel profit optimization software, announced the opening of a European headquarters in London, along with the appointment of Alex Barros as Vice President of Sales for EMEA.Barros is a loyalty specialist and has most recently served as Director of Sales, Southern Europe & Latin America for SiteMinder. Before that, he was Director of Business Development EMEA & Brazil for VOILÀ Hotel Rewards & Hospitality Marketing Concepts and, prior to that, gained experience at loyalty marketing driven organizations, including Touchdown Marketing delivering strategic alliances for loyalty programs, and at MasterCard Europe. Barros has a B.A. in Social Sciences with Major in Advertising from UniCesumar in Brazil and speaks four languages fluently. In July, Duetto announced a $21 million funding led by Accel Partners to continue its expansion into key markets throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
