Scott Tarwater has been appointed Executive Vice President Hotel Development at DePalma Hotel Corporation
Tarwater will direct the company’s public/private hotel and convention center strategies as well execute existing clients’ new hotel and resort development plans. Tarwater previously served as in the same role for Springfield, MO-based John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, where he directed a strategic hotel and convention center development strategy in tertiary markets with significant demand generators. The 78-hotel portfolio spanned 40 states and included 5.4 million sq. ft. of meeting space.
