Guillaume LesageGuillaume Lesage, has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at QHotels, a collection of 27 unique and four-star hotels. Guillaume brings with him industry experience spanning 25 years, covering both restaurants and hotels. At the age of just 24 he became General Manager of a 15 bedroom, two AA Rosette inn in Somerset. He went on to become Food & Beverage Manager as part of the opening team of the Brigstow hotel in Bristol, and as Deputy General Manager at St Pierre Park hotel in Guernsey. He also worked as Brand Food & Beverage Manager for Mercure Hotels and was General Manager of the iconic Avon Gorge Hotel in Clifton Bristol before securing his new role at QHotels. Guillaume’s appointment follows an incredibly successful year of high profile endorsements for QHotels, including an AA Hotel Group of the Year award, and iconic Manchester hotel The Midland being crowned Group Hotel of the Year at The Caterer and Hotelkeeper Awards 2014, giving QHotels the perfect opportunity to use heightened brand awareness to build customer loyalty in Food & Beverage. Guillaume’s ambition is to create an identity of the future for Food & Beverage at QHotels. Concentrating on quality, innovation and training, he believes that a change of approach is needed to run hotel kitchens in a fresh way, to challenge what has always been done, and make them as successful as possible.
