Nicholas Chalmers Hilton Worldwide today announced the appointment of Nicholas Chalmers as General Manager of Conrad London St. James, effective from 13th April 2015. With extensive knowledge in luxury hotel management spanning operations and revenue, Chalmers brings strong commercial insight and a wealth of leadership to the role. Chalmers joins Conrad London St. James from three years with Jumeriah Carlton Tower, where he was Hotel Manager. Prior to Jumeriah Carlton Tower, Chalmers also held senior leadership roles within Rooms Division and Revenue Strategy at some of London’s top hotels, including Grosvenor House - a JW Marriott Hotel, The Landmark and Renaissance Chancery Court. Chalmers’ professional experience is also complemented by postgraduate study at the University of Surrey and Reading University, as well as fronting the General Manager Program at Cornell University, New York. With a strong professional history, Chalmers is an ideal addition to Conrad London St. James team. Highlights include overseeing a £28 million operation, firmly establishing Chalmers as an accomplished revenue leader, winning Marriott Global Leader and team awards in 2004. As a result, Chalmers is set to bring a well-rounded skillset from multiple disciplines, including revenue management, sales strategy and operations as he reaches his long-term career goal as General Manager at Conrad London St. James.
