Max Chin Max joins the Montara family-owned hotel group from Mövenpick, Chiang Mai where he was Culinary Director for Mövenpick, Thailand for 3 years. During this period he also provided F&B support during the pre-opening phases of Mövenpick Hotels in China, Singapore and Philippines. Prior to his time with Mövenpick and for 6 years, Max was both Owner and Managing Chef of an award-winning restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With over 27 years of hospitality experience as both Executive Chef and F&B Director in various Asian countries including; Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Thailand, Max is well positioned to take Boathouse to greater heights. His passion for excellence in both product and service along with his commitment to the development of his team are his strongest assets.
