Magdy Ayoub named Cluster General Manager KSA Hotels at One to One Hotels & Resorts in Makkah
Magdy Ayoub was recently appointed as the new cluster general manager for One to One Hotels & Resorts’ Saudi Arabia properties. Having been living and working in Saudi Arabia for eight years, Ayoub was previously pre-opening GM of Concorde Makkah Hotel from September 2014 until April 2015, and before that he was general manager of Drnef Hotel, Makkah. Ayoub held the position of director of rooms at Corp Executive Hotel Deira – Riyadh, a hotel managed by Dubai-based Hospitality Management Holdings. He also worked in the rooms division for a number of international operators between 2007 and 2011, including Accor, Carlson Rezidor and Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. Ayoub moved to Saudi Arabia in 2007, having begun his career in Egypt as front office supervisor at Iberotel Coraya Beach Resort. He also spent four years in Egypt as a lecturer in hotel management courses at the Technical Institute of Hotel Management. One to One Hotels & Resorts’ Saudi Arabia portfolio includes three Makkah properties: One to One Diar Al Jaafria, One to One – Al Rusaifa Hotel, and One to One – Al Samman Hotel.
