Archana Kawatra has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche
Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche luxury hotel has announced the appointment of Ms. Archana Kawatra as Director of Sales and Marketing. Ms. Kawatra will be responsible for sales and business development of 282-hotel rooms property. The role includes identifying market trends, determining system improvements and implementing change. Archana Kawatra will oversee the implementation of new initiatives to enhance the account portfolio for the hotel, seven food and beverage outlets, meetings and events and So Spa by bringing in new business, increasing profitability and achieving a better positioning of the hotel in the key markets around the world. Ms. Kawatra brings over 18 years of hospitality experience in Grand Millennium Al Wahda Abu Dhabi, Rotana Corporate Sales Office and Hyatt in Dubai as well as Taj Hotels, Leela Kempinski and The Ambassador Group of Hotels in Mumbai. Her career has spanned a number of hospitality disciplines in sales, marketing and guest relations.
