Chris Marquis has been appointed Vice President and Principal at Pacifica Hotels
Pacifica Hotels, the largest owner and operator of independent hotels on the Pacific Coast, announced today the appointment of two new key executives: Scott Quigle as Executive Vice President of Accounting and Finance and Chris Marquis as Vice President and Principal of Pacifica Hotels. Chris Marquis joins Pacifica Hotels from GE Capital's Experienced Commercial Leadership program where he worked with senior leaders to launch new commercial platforms, develop new business products, and manage loans for hotels, multi-family, and commercial properties through GE's Commercial Real Estate Lending group. Prior to GE, Marquis was with Donahue Schriber, a private REIT specializing in retail shopping centers, where he underwrote new acquisitions and created budgets for their $2 billion portfolio. He also spent five years at Sperry Van Ness, a commercial brokerage firm, where he worked with the top retail team and closed over $350 million in transactions. Marquis holds a MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He will work closely with the Asset Management Team and will oversee Investor Relations from Pacifica Hotels' Santa Barbara office.
