Ronen Nissenbaum has been appointed Vice President of Operations, Luxury Hotels - Americas at Hilton
Hilton Worldwide announced the appointment of Ronen Nissenbaum as Vice President of Operations, Luxury Hotels-Americas. In this newly created position, Nissenbaum will possess full operational responsibility for all Hilton Worldwide luxury properties within the region inclusive of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts. Nissenbaum is uniquely qualified for his new luxury role. Since June 2014, he served as Managing Director of the Waldorf Astoria New York and Towers of the Waldorf Astoria New York. Before joining the Hilton Worldwide team, he served as the president and CEO of The Plaza Group including overseeing the Plaza Hotel in New York as well as development of the Plaza hotel brand. Earlier, he held extensive leadership positions at properties around the globe including Senior Executive Vice President of operations at Marina Bay Sands Singapore where he opened and managed the largest integrated resort in Southeast Asia. Nissenbaum’s other global hospitality positions include senior management roles with Forte hotels in London and Euro Disney in Paris. Nissenbaum also had successful 13 year tenure with InterContinental Hotel Group holding various roles from general manager in Tel-Aviv, Berlin, Paris and Atlanta to regional vice president of operations for North America. His hospitality career began with positions in the front office and food and beverage departments at properties in Belgium, Switzerland and Israel. Nissenbaum earned an executive MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He is a graduate of the Swiss Hotel School “Les Roches”. He is also a veteran of the Israeli Air Force and speaks several languages including English, French, German and Hebrew.
