Tim PriceManagement company Valor Hospitality Europe has appointed a new general manager to its hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds City Centre. With over twenty five years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Tim Price first worked as a general manager at the Angel Hotel, Chippenham in 1989. His job then took him to hotels across the UK from the Sheffield Moat House to St David’s Hotel and Spa, Cardiff to The Selfridge Hotel, London. Throughout his career, Tim has built up an impressive reputation for managing successful hotels. He has also turned around the fortunes of underperforming hotels by improving guest satisfaction ratings, profits and staff engagement. Tim hopes that he will be able to continue to build on this success in his new position. Valor Hospitality Europe has been operational in the UK for one year and has grown rapidly during this time and now has 20 hotels in its portfolio. It also recently announced that it has been appointed to manage the first two AC Hotels by Marriott in the UK. Brian McCarthy, managing director of Valor Hospitality Europe, said: “Tim has had an extremely successful career to date so we are thrilled that he has joined the Valor team. I have no doubt that the DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds City Centre hotel will continue to go from strength to strength under Tim’s management.
