Sarka Takovich has been appointed General Manager at The Marker Waterfront Resort
The Marker Waterfront Resort Key West is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarka Takovich as General Manager. Takovich will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the charming luxury resort, which opened to great fanfare last year. She will also oversee exciting new programs and guest amenities that are soon to be introduced to the property. Takovich brings with her more than 10 years of hospitality experience to The Marker Waterfront Resort, having worked in several distinct hotels throughout the states. Most recently, she served as General Manager at 21C Museum, assisting with the overall operations and finances of the hotel. She has also worked at the revered Little Palm Island Resort & Spa located in Little Torch Key for more than five years in a variety of capacities. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic and is fluent in English, Czech, Russian, Polish and Slovak.
