Stephen Gaylor joined Hunter Hotel Advisors as SVP, capital markets
Hunter Hotel Advisors has hired hotel finance veteran Stephen Gaylor as SVP, capital markets. In his new role, Gaylor will expand all of Hunter’s programs for sourcing and placing hotel real estate debt, and sourcing equity for new transactions. “Hunter has access to multiple sources of capital to structure a capital stack that makes sense for the client,” said Gaylor. “The current number of sources is vast and adds to the complexity of the deals. The challenge is arranging a financing strategy that makes the most sense for the long-term health of the deal including a clean exit strategy.” With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Gaylor’s career includes a broad range of real estate financings. Prior to Hunter, he served as managing member at Newton Associates, LLC; financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, where he focused on providing services to real estate developers and owners in the Southeastern U.S.; and as VP of Edison Hotels & Resorts Company.
