Kerry Ranson has been appointed Chief Development Officer at HP Hotels, Inc.
HP Hotels announced today that Kerry Ranson has joined the company as Chief Development Officer. Mike Hines, HP Hotels’ Chairman and CEO, made the announcement. In this newly created position Kerry will leverage his extensive industry experience as well as the relationships he has cultivated over his over 23 years in the hotel industry to further the growth of HP Hotels’ portfolio of managed properties nationwide. Kerry returns to the company he helped to found in 2002. In 2007, Kerry and his wife gave birth to triplet daughters. Recognizing the need to be closer to home to care for his family, Kerry accepted an opportunity in 2010 to join Expotel Hospitality Services as a partner. He has since served as the company’s President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to the formation of HP Hotels, Kerry was an area director for IHG, where he drove both occupancy and ADR by implementing structured revenue management systems at each of his 20-plus properties. He is also the outgoing Chairman of the Board for the IHG Owners Association.
