Bruce ReichenbacherShore Hotel, the leader in sustainability among Santa Monica's luxury hotels with the distinction of LEED Gold certification, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Reichenbacher as director of finance to its executive team. Reichenbacher brings more than ten years of hotel management experience as multi-property director of finance. Prior to his appointment at Shore Hotel, Reichenbacher was the assistant general manager and director of finance at Luxe City Center Hotel in Los Angeles, Calif. where he oversaw all facets of accounting operations and financial reporting for this luxury boutique hotel. Before that, he was controller at a number of hotel properties including Shorebreak Hotel, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Hotel Palomar, San Francisco, Calif.; Wilshire Grand Hotel, Los Angeles, Calif.; and the Sheraton Long Beach Hotel, Long Beach, Calif., where he was the opening controller. While with Sheraton Hotels, he served as manager and financial analysis at their world headquarters in Boston, Mass. During his tenure at Pyramid Hotel Group, he was awarded the ACE Award for Best Report Card Reporting, Most Improved AR Reduction of 60+ Day, and Highest Flow Thru %. Reichenbacher holds an MBA from The University of Connecticut, a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mass., and is a Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive. Reichenbacher shares his passion for the hospitality industry with students at Cal State Long Beach where he has taught classes in Hospitality Management including: F&B and Labor Cost Controls, Customer Service Management, Hotel Management, Hospitality Law, and Hospitality Accounting. Reichenbacher resides in Inglewood, CA. He has three daughters, a son, and two granddaughters.
