Philippe GalindoPhilippe Galindo is relishing the chance to serve up a mouth-watering range of new culinary creations and flavours to guests at La Manga Club after being appointed as the new food and beverages director at the five-star Spanish resort. Renowned for his gastronomic flair and passion, the Italian-Andalusian will bring a wealth of experience to his new role at the award-winning venue in Murcia having worked as a chef and executive chef at several luxury hotels, resorts and restaurants across Europe over the last three decades. As well as enjoying high-profile positions at top eateries in Madrid, London, Marseille, Bordeaux and, most recently, in Perpignan, Galindo also spent time training with Ferrán Adriá at the world-famous three Michelin-starred ‘El lBulli’ restaurant in Barcelona – named number one by Restaurant Magazine in its list of the top 50 restaurants in the world a record five times. La Manga Club offers guests the chance to experience a wide array of different cuisines from around the world with individually-created menus at a choice of more than 20 bars and restaurants around the resort.
