Andreas Ragotis has been appointed CEO at Miraggio Thermal Spa & Resort
This summer sees the highly anticipated opening of Greece’s Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort. Amongst other highlights such as the Kids Planet, five exceptional restaurants and their very own marina, it is set to be Europe’s finest and most eco-friendly spa and arguably one of 2016’s most exciting openings. A cornerstone for wellness offerings, the resort will be an incredible destination, combining thermal energy from below from the earth’s crust with healing thalasso energy from the sea - which will not only cater to the extensive thermal and thalasso pools but will also power up to two thirds of the hotel. With a rich and dynamic background in hospitality, CEO Andreas Ragotis sits very much at the helm of this spectacular project. With a combined nationality of Greek and Russian, Andreas worked under some of the most established hospitality groups such as Aman Resorts, Hyatt Regency and InterContinental before moving across to Med Sea Health, the group behind the Miraggio project. In addition to achieving a degree of excellence at the prestigious Swiss Business School for Hotel and Tourism; Andreas brings a wealth of experience and the very best of authentic Greek hospitality offerings in his role as CEO. Destined to become a magnet for luxury spa aficionados, Andreas’ aim is to ensure Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort holds a strong and unwavering commitment to wellness. Andreas will be behind the development of Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort from the initial construction to the opening date, set to be on the 27th May 2016. Looking further ahead to 2017 and beyond, Andreas also has plans for the expansion of an Eco Friendly Village and a boutique hospitality offering adjacent to the resort.
