Darcie DeBartelo has been appointed Spa Director of SoSPA at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills
Trilogy Spa Holdings is pleased to announce the appointment of Darcie DeBartelo as Spa Director of SoSPA inside the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. DeBartelo brings in more than 25 years of experience in the luxury spa and wellness industry. Prior to joining SoSPA, DeBartelo was most recently with the St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, CA, a Forbes 5 Star-rated Spa. Under her leadership this property earned numerous accolades, notably the "10 Beach Resort Spas for Romantic Getaway" USA Today (2015) and the "Conde Nast Traveler, Spa Gaucin, Hot Spa List" (2012 thru 2014). Ms DeBartelo will oversee all aspects of Daily Operations and management of the SoSpa experience including a strong focus on driving revenues through innovative and eye catching programming. She will also be first point of contact on a daily basis with the upper management at Sofitel to ensure that the SoSpa experience is incorporated into the luxury hotel guest experience. Ms. DeBartelo will oversee all recruiting, onboarding and training of all spa professionals at SoSpa. Ms. DeBartelo will report to Brennan Evans – VP Spa Operations – Trilogy Spa Holdings. After graduating with a major in Hotel restaurant management at Santa Barbara City College in 1991, she began her career as an Assistant Spa Director at The Claremont Resort and Spa in Oakland, California. In 1998, DeBartelo became Assistant Spa Director & Salon Manager at The Phoenician Center for Well-Being in Phoenix, AZ where she held a variety of management responsibilities throughout the wellness center. She relocated to New York in 2000 to become Opening Spa Director at Mirbeau Inn & Spa where she helped design and open the new 10,000 square foot 4 diamond resort. After the successful opening, DeBartelo was in demand and was offered the new Corporate Spa Director at Evans Hotels which included Catamaran Resort and Spa and The Lodge at Torrey Pines. In 2009, she was the Spa Director at The Spa at Trump in Chicago, Illinois overseeing the Forbes 5-Star property’s spa and health programs. In 2010 DeBartelo was relocated to Kauai, Hawaii to spearhead the St. Regis Princeville Halele’a Spa as Director of Spa. In 2012, she continued her career path with the St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, CA as Director of Spa.
