Jeff GillisBardessono Hotel & Spa, the luxurious, LEED Platinum Certified wine country retreat in the heart of Napa Valley, is pleased to introduce Jeff Gillis as the new director of food and beverage for the hotel and its signature restaurant, Lucy. Bringing over fifteen years of experience, Gillis is responsible for the management and successful operations of all food and beverage processes as well as establishing “exceptional by nature” culinary guest services. Gillis’ noteworthy background in the local food and beverage industry includes, general manager at Pinot Provence a Patina Restaurant Group, general manager of outlets at Shorebreak Hotel a Joie de Vivre Property in Hungtington Beach, Calif., and director of restaurants at Koi Restaurant Group in Los Angeles, Calif. Most recently, Gillis acted as director of restaurant operations at Hotel Maya a DoubleTree property in Long Beach, Calif., where he was responsible for planning and executing all off and on-site events, creating marketing materials for food and beverage outlets and increasing restaurant revenue. Gillis earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Denver. He went on to receive a master of business administration degree with a concentration in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois.
