Hung HuynhResorts World Bimini, a 750-acre luxury beachfront resort, casino and marina situated on the Bahamian Out Island of North Bimini, is excited to announce its partnership with Chef Hung Huynh, Bravos Top Chef season three winner, as a culinary consultant for The Hilton at Resorts World Bimini. As the property prepares to fully open its 305 room Hilton hotel this summer, Chef Huynh will oversee the development and design of the menu for Resorts World Biminis new restaurant and Sushi Bar, in addition to establishing and implementing front-of-house and kitchen operations. Chef Hung Huynh was born in Saigon, Vietnam and moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1986. By the time he was in high school, he was already cooking at one of the most prestigious luxury hotels in the country Wheatleigh in Lenox, Massachusetts. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2002, he worked his way through many of Manhattan's top restaurants before moving to Las Vegas in 2006 to help open the three Michelin-starred Guy Savoy. Then in 2007, Chef Huynh participated in season three of Bravos reality television cooking show, Top Chef, where he ultimately won the title. After his big win, he became Executive Chef of Buddha Bar, CATCH, and The General in New Yorks star studded hot spots. In 2015, Chef Huynh left behind the successful empire he helped build to pursue his passion for traveling the world and actively cultivating his knowledge of disparate of cuisines and cultures.
