Adetope Kayode has been appointed VP for Advisory and Transactions at HTI Consulting
Hospitality and Real Estate Consulting firm HTI Consulting announced that the company is expanding its presence in Nigeria and has recruited Adetope Kayode as Vice President for Advisory and Transactions to head up their growth in Nigeria. Adetope with his vast experience in Nigeria and sub-saharan Africa, will be based in Lagos, Nigeria as of 01 June 2016. Adetope comes to HTI Consulting from the investment and asset management sector where he was Assistant Vice President for Hospitality and Retail at Mixta Africa, a subsidiary of ARM Investment Managers. Adetope has over 12 years work experience, including Fund Management, Consulting, Project Finance, Asset Management and Corporate Finance and Strategy, gained through working at KPMG Lagos and ARM Investment Managers. Adetope’s transaction advisory and asset management experience will bring value to HTI Consulting clients. In his last role he was involved in the structuring and establishment of the first Hospitality and Retail Real Estate Investment Fund in Nigeria. He was also involved in the asset management and successful refinancing of their first development in Victoria Island, Lagos. Adetope will focus on debt and equity financing, feasibility studies, due diligence, operator selection and valuations within Nigeria, West Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.
