Scott RobisonScott Robison, accomplished hospitality veteran and D.C. native with more than 20 years of luxury resort and hotel experience, has been named General Manager of The Embassy Row Hotel, D.C.’s only urban lifestyle hotel. In his role, Robison will oversee all hotel operations while leading the staff to exceed guest expectations by providing an authentic D.C. experience. His appointment comes as the property; recently named one of the “Top 10 Best New Hotels in America,” by USA Today completes a refresh of the seasonal rooftop pool and bar complex, The Rooftop, following its $15 million floor-to-ceiling renovation in March 2015. In addition, Robison will focus efforts on growing the hotel’s CSR initiatives, complementing the hotel’s “Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program” accolade awarded by Convene Magazine last year. Robison joins The Embassy Row Hotel after serving as the Assistant General Manager at the Sheraton Tysons Hotel in Virginia, overseeing sales and marketing, housekeeping and front office efforts. In his leadership role, Robison lead his team to multiple awards achieving accolades within sales, marketing and public relations. Prior, he enjoyed successful tenures as the Director of Sales and Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui, as well as The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner and Lansdowne Resort in Virginia. A native of Washington D.C., Robison grew up in Fairfax, VA and has lived in Colorado and Hawaii, following his passion for the hospitality business. When he’s not on property, he enjoys living an active lifestyle outdoors, playing golf, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing and spending time with his children.
