David Cohen has been appointed Senior Sales Manager at Playa Largo Resort & Spa
Playa Largo Resort & Spa, the newest addition to the Autograph Collection, is proud to announce the appointment of David Cohen as Senior Sales Manager for the resort, set to open in Fall 2016. In his new role, Cohen will be responsible for generating business from targeted market segments, increasing profitable revenue, analyzing trends to create successful selling strategies, developing relationships with corporate accounts and planning, negotiating, booking and coordinating group room sales to help meet and exceed the resort’s financial goals. Cohen joins the Playa Largo team having previously served as the Sales Manager for Destination Management and Event Production at Barton G. The Restaurant in Miami, FL. Prior to that, he gained 15 years of experience as a national sales manager for Paradise Island in the Bahamas, and worked in a variety of departments including the One & Only Ocean Club, the Marina at Atlantis, and the travel industry sales department.
