Prashanth Gurumurthiah has been appointed Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing at Park Inn by Radisson Muscat & Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Residence Duqm
The Indian national started his career as a system analyst and consultant, and worked his way up through various professional positions in Switzerland, United Kingdom, UAE and India. He joined Rezidor in May 2007 and has held key management positions in Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai, Deira Creek, UAE. In 2010, he was promoted to regional sales manager and team member of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group Global Sales Office in Dubai, and promoted to director of sales for MICE in 2014. Gurumurthiah holds an MBA in hotel and tourism management from University Center “Cesar Ritz” in Switzerland and an MBA in finance from the University of Wales in the UK.
