Michelle WhartonThe Hari opened its doors in Belgravia in August this year and Ms. Wharton will lead the sales and marketing team, supporting the growth of the hotel’s network of customers. Comprising of 85 bedrooms, including 14 suites and an eclectic mix of social spaces, the new boutique hotel is the first look at The Hari brand, which Ms. Wharton will help develop globally. Ms. Wharton has over 10 years of international sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, with an expertise in supporting top hotel brands during the pre-opening phase and when they are repositioning. She joins The Hari from London’s iconic Marriott County Hall, where she was Director of Sales and Marketing for the past three years. Prior to this, Ms. Wharton held a number of positions across Asia. She was Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing for the Radisson Blu Phuket and opened the Radisson Blu Bangkok. In addition, she was Director of Sales and Marketing for JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, Thailand and Cluster Director of Business Development at Marriot Hotels, Shanghai, China.
