Mark MorrisonExpedia has named Mark Morrison as VP of owner strategy and services. In this role, Morrison will be focused on growing relationships with, and developing new services for, hotel owners and management companies. Morrison was most recently advising and investing in travel start-ups. Prior to that, he spent eight years with Hilton Worldwide where he led the corporate strategy function following its buyout by Blackstone. During that time, he managed a variety of corporate strategic projects and planning efforts for Hilton, which included an IPO in 2013. He has also held roles in hotel asset management, development and financial operations. Morrison is a graduate of the Cornell Hotel School and Kellogg School of Business. He has also held strategic advisement roles with Bain & Company and Silicon Valley Bank. He served as a volunteer development consultant with the Peace Corps for two years in Panama, and as a volunteer hotel consultant with Technoserve in Mozambique.
