David HarbGrand Hyatt Dubai appointed David Harb as hotel manager in December 2016, promoting him from his previous position as executive assistant manager. In his new role, he will be in charge of the general hotel operations and report directly to general manager, Fathi Khogaly. A graduate in hospitality management, Harb started his career with Hyatt in 2002 when he joined Hyatt Regency New Orleans in Louisiana as assistant manager of food and beverage. Following that, he undertook roles such as assistant banquet director and assistant executive steward. Harb transferred as banquet manager to Hyatt Regency Savannah where he was later promoted to assistant director of food and beverage. He was part of the opening team of Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Centre and Spa in Florida as assistant director of food and beverage. He then moved to Chicago as director of F&B at the Hyatt Lodge in Chicago. After Chicago, he moved on to become area director of food and beverage for Grand Hyatt Seattle and Hyatt @ Olive 8. In 2012, Harb joined Hyatt Regency Dubai as director of food and beverage and in February 2016, he was appointed as EAM - F&B. In May 2016, he moved to the Grand Hyatt Dubai as executive assistant manager.
