Landberg will run the energetic contemporary midtown New York hotel, which is located within walking distance from Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, Central Park and the theater district. Landberg is a dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. While his attention has always been on delivering optimal profitability for the operation, he emphasizes the importance of creating and nurturing a positive and inclusive team culture, balancing appreciation and accountability. Prior to his current position, Landberg served as General Manager of YOTEL New York, where he oversaw all aspects of the operation and the direction for the continued growth of the brand and the flagship hotel in New York. Previously, Landberg held executive and leadership roles with some of the most prestigious hospitality companies in the world, including: MGM Resorts International, Station Casinos, Caesars Entertainment and Hilton Hotels in the New York, New Jersey and Nevada markets. His experience spans all aspects of full-service luxury operations including hotel, spa, food and beverage, gaming and entertainment. He has overseen multimillion dollar renovations and enhancements as well as opening experiences with Paris Las Vegas and Red Rock Resort. Prior to moving to the U.S., Claes owned and operated a restaurant operation in his native Stockholm, Sweden and worked in small privately owned boutique style hotels in Europe. Designed by Philippe Starck, the 876-room Hudson Hotel is stylish, democratic, contemporary and young at heart.
