Curt Asmussen has been promoted General Manager at Inn at 500 Capitol
INN AT 500 CAPITOL, a very special boutique hotel, today announced the promotion of Curt Asmussen to General Manager. With a strong purpose to create a team-centered atmosphere and resolute dedication to providing all guests with a consistently unique experience, Asmussen will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the hotel. Mr. Asmussen replaces Aaron Black, who will be relocating to Fort Collins, Colorado with wife Kelly to pursue an opportunity as Innkeeper of a small boutique hotel. Asmussen joined the company in April 2016 as Director of Sales, and was instrumental in the pre-opening and opening success of Boise’s newest boutique hotel. Prior to joining the INN AT 500 CAPITOL team, Mr. Asmussen was General Manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-Lincolnshire. With over 13 years in the hospitality industry, he spent 6 of those in Boise advancing his career in hotel Sales, Marketing and Management. He holds a B.S degree in Marketing & Advertising from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
