Prior to his appointment at The St. Regis Bali Resort, Nico joined Marriott International in 2015 as Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka in Japan. Nico has successfully driven vast F&B growth and revenues and developed initiatives that led to substantial increase in guest satisfaction. Nicos affinity for Asian culture and hospitality has established him on the continent for 9 years, working in various leadership roles in major Asian cities including Hong Kong and Beijing. His dedication and passion has enabled him to gain extensive experience in the industry in a number of senior rol es in reputable hotels. Nico brings a wealth of experience to lead the resort in delivering the brand promise of St. Regis and contribute to the brands uncompromising service and legendary experiences. Fluent in German, English and French, Nico holds a higher diploma (Dipl. Hotelier/Restaurateur HF) from the Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality in Chur, Switzerland, Nico started his career in 1996 as an apprentice in the food & beverage department in Zurich.
