Wilco de Weerd has been appointed Director Product Management at protel hotelsoftware GmbH
With more than 25 years’ experience in hospitality technology, Wilco brings a depth of knowledge in global product management that adds incomparable value for the future product strategy for protel hotelsoftware GmbH. In his new role, he will be responsible for the product management teams ranging across the protel portfolio, and as part of the protel executive strategy group, to research and provide analysis of all trends in the hospitality technology space. In the past, Wilco has held various positions with global responsibilities, most recently as Hospitality Strategy and Solution Manager at Oracle Hospitality. His passion for product management is reflected in his career, and with more than 11 years as the global product manager for Suite8 at MICROS Inc, he is intimately familiar with the technology requirements of the hospitality industry.
