Puneet Baijal has been appointed General Manager at Roda Al Bustan Dubai Airport Hotel
Roda Hotels & Resorts has appointed Puneet Baijal as the new general manager of Roda Al Bustan Dubai Airport Hotel. Baijal has more than 18 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Holding a degree from Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Applied Nutrition, Delhi, Baijal has been credited with the National Award for the best emerging hotel in India, he also holds a master’s degree in sales, marketing, and finance and was accredited as a wine specialist from Italy. In his new role, Baijal will be overseeing day-to-day operations and direction of the 279-rooms as well as utilising his hands-on management style to deliver the highest standards of service. Roda Hotels and Resorts, currently in its fourth year, is committed to providing their guests with the ultimate middle-eastern experience of personalised Arabian hospitality blended with a contemporary setting. Prior to joining Roda Al Bustan, Baijal was the general manager at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh, India. Baijal began his career with Taj Hotels, following which he moved to The Leela Kempinski, Mumbai and then to Hyatt Hotels in India, Germany, Thailand, and the GCC.
